Landing at Heathrow after a long flight is tiring enough without wondering where your driver is. Here’s how a pre-booked Heathrow taxi pickup works, so you can walk out of arrivals with confidence.
How a pre-booked pickup works
When you book with CabAirport, we monitor your flight, so if you land early or late, your driver is dispatched to match. You aren’t charged extra for a delayed flight, and your fixed quote includes up to 45 minutes of free waiting after landing.
Where to meet your driver
Unless we’ve told you otherwise, your driver waits at the information desk in the arrivals area. This applies whichever Heathrow terminal you arrive at: Terminal 2, 3, 4 or 5. If you gave us your mobile number, we’ll call you if there’s any difficulty finding each other, so keep your phone on after landing.
Know your terminal before you book
Check your airline’s terminal on your booking confirmation and enter it when you reserve. A wrong terminal is the most common cause of missed pickups, because the terminals are far apart.
Tips for a smooth transfer
- Save our number before you fly, in case you need to reach us.
- Choose the right vehicle. Our saloons take 4 passengers and 2 suitcases. For bigger groups or lots of luggage, choose an estate, MPV or 8-seater minibus.
- Book ahead. Online reservations need at least 12 hours’ notice. For early-morning flights, book as soon as you have your tickets.
- Departing? Allow for traffic on the M4 and around West London, and leave earlier at peak times.
